Mango, one of the biggest fashion chains, is to open its store in Galeria Ostrowiec shopping centre. In the 450 sqm lease transaction, Knight Frank – an exclusive agent of Galeria Ostrowiec - has been advising the landlord: First Property Group.
The opening of the first Mango store to go online in the Świętokrzyskie region is scheduled for September, 2018. The fashion chain is currently entering a growth phase, looking for opportunities to grow both in Poland and abroad. Operating a network of 16 stores across Poland, Mango is set to grow by another 5 locations by the year-end.
Located in the city’s downtown, at the corner of Mickiewicza and Żeromskiego streets, Galeria Ostrowiec is the only shopping centre in Ostrowiec. The shopping centre has just underwent an expansion, adding 5,000 sqm of new space and bringing its total area to 20,000 sqm of space. Reserved, CCC, Martes Sport and Jysk have already opened their stores in the new component, while Pepco is scheduled to launch its operations in the mall in April.
„The agreement with Mango is an important part of the new strategy for Galeria Ostrowiec, which aims at strengthening its market position within the entire region. At this point, the modernization process is underway on the centre’s common areas, lighting, shop windows and food court. At the same time, we are in the process of closing new lease transactions with tenants from fashion, food court and other industries.” – said Kinga Zabłocka, Leasing Manager at Knight Frank’s Retail Agency.
The owner of Galeria Ostrowiec, First Property Group, took over the project in 2006 from Polimeni International.
